STORIES & STANZAS

Welcome to the homepage of 'Stories & Stanzas'.  This website showcases the work of Cupar Writers, a  writing group that meets regularly, in Cupar YMCA, Fife, Scotland.

The leader of our group is Elizabeth Carr, a former schoolteacher, from Northumberland. Under Elizabeth’s excellent guidance the group has produced a large volume of work, over a period of several years. This work includes both short stories and poetry and  has been exemplified in several of the group's own publications, such as Spoutings I, 2 and 3 and Nickety Nackety News, whose title was inspired by the well known Scottish poem, 'The Wee Cooper o' Fife'.
